making HONEST ANTAGONISTS who believe they’re in the right and firmly believe in what they’re doing is SO MUCH MORE INTERESTING than making them “crazy” because of some outside influence. make villains who believe they are the protagonists

Rules:
1. Always post the rules
2. Answer the questions the person who tagged you wrote and write your 11 new questions
3. Tag 11 new people
4. Tell them you’ve tagged them
5. @ me so I can see your answer

I was tagged by hugbooks on fashion-by-the-book, but I try to keep personal stuff off there so I’ll do it here!

1. What is your favourite book-ish quote?

"A Reader Lives A Thousand Lives."

2. If you keep track (most likely on Goodreads) how many books have you read so far this year?

137!

3. What is your favourite band to listen to while reading?

I don’t listen to music while reading usually, but sometimes Of Monsters and Men!
4. A character you find super annoying?

Honestly, Rose Hathaway got on my nerves a lot. But I love VA!

5. Do you snack while reading? What’s your favourite reading snack?

I like drinking things while reading, like tea or coffee. Or eating chocolate
6. A book to film adaptation that you enjoy?

Harry Potter, of course. And the first Narnia movie. And Pride and Prejudice and all Jane Austen’s novels, really.

7. Favourite Marvel-anything; film, comic or tv-related?

I’ve never seen or read anything to do with Marvel! :(

8. A character you could live without, and one you couldn’t live without.

Oh goodness. Stargirl and Ponyboy are a tie for live without! But every series has some one (Leo from HOO, Adrian from VA, etc.) But for live without… hmmm. That vampire queen in TMI was pretty useless. The young one that liked Simon. I honestly can’t think of a better one!

9. Which book cover is your favourite to look at?

Difficult question! The original Across the Galaxy covers were beautiful.

10. Is there a book you’ve read that you’ll never read again?

A few books I hated and would never read again: Origin, Perks of Being a Wallflower (sorry, I know that’s everyone’s favorite!), Gulliver’s Travels.

11. Do you use Goodreads? How much do you rely on Goodreads?

yes and so, so much.

Thank you for tagging me!

  1. If you could have a dinner party with 10 book characters, who would you chose?
  2. What was one character who’s death was the worse?
  3. What’s a character you wish had died?
  4. What’s a book you’d like to see turned into a weekly show?
  5. What’s a song that reminds you of a book?
  6. Have you ever met an author?
  7. What’s a show that you think would make a great book series? (i.e like Doctor Who’s series)
  8. What three series do you recommend to anyone?
  9. Which is better? Reading on the beach or inside on a rainy day?
  10. All my questions are book related so… Out of the three big fandoms (Doctor Who, Sherlock, Supernatural) which is your favorite?
  11. What’s a book crossover you’d love to see?

OK, now the hard part: Tagging people. I don’t know who to pick, so anyone can do it!
